About donating to Whitby Defibrillator Project

Whitby Defibrillator Project is a non-profit organisation, run by volunteers. It exists to maintain defibrillators in Whitby and relies solely on public donations. This fund raising is specifically to pay for batteries and the maintenance of the defibrillator units, boxes, locks and associated first aid kits, and does not include any administration costs for the Project. They have set a target for the Festival of £5,000 and if more is raised it will be kept and used for the ongoing maintenance of defibrillators.

All money raised goes directly towards paying for defibrillators; no administration costs for the Project come out of donated money. Donated money is not used for any aspect of organising Whitby Hot Chocolate Festival.

They keep your online donation secure by using a trusted provider (JustGiving - note that JustGiving takes a small fee for this) or by using bank transfer.

Donations are non-refundable, but if you think you have donated in error, please contact Bob Stevens at Whitby Defibrillator Project on wdpwhitby@gmail.com

Gift Aid does not apply to donations to Whitby Defibrillator Project.
